The decision seemed simple at first, but it affected my class, my friend, and the promise I had made to my teacher. I realised that being fair was not the same as being popular.
During the sports event, I noticed that one teammate had broken the rules. Reporting it would make the team angry, but ignoring it would make the result unfair.
I tried to explain the situation clearly. The phrase about what I saw near the equipment table was partly unclear in the original scan, so the evidence was difficult to judge.
Looking back, I do not regret the decision. It taught me that courage is not always about being liked. Sometimes it is about being able to explain your choice honestly.
